Dear Jessica,

I would like to apologise for the delay in responding to your letter of 5 sept 2002. On behalf of Eveline High School, Science Department,I would to express our sincere gratitude for the stirling work done by your team, the Cosmos Education team, and for the materials we left behind for the benefit of the department. This has greatly improved teachers' delivery of lessons and the pupils' attitude toward the subject significantly.

I am particularly thankful for your noble mission and vision of bringing and improving science education on the developing world. Science,Maths and Technology subjects are very important to the children if they are to understand their environment and benefit from it. Their day to day lives hinges on knowledge and understanding of science.

Teaching science in a developing country has a number of challenges, major among which is the lack of resources. As a department we lack a number of resources which would be helpful in delivery of lessons and enhancing understanding of concepts by pupils. We desire to have a computer with a printer and a scanner to assist in preparation of lessons and examinations and keeping records of pupils' progress.

We are looking forward to meeting you and your team again this year 2003 so that we can continue to benefit from your quest of knowledge.

For any correspondence on the dates you intend to come please contact the head Mrs E.G Mtembo.

Yours faithfully,

Sithembakuye Ngwenya (Science Teacher)
